I do believe this ban was false as I was NOT building a machine in an attempt to crash the server, all I was doing was connecting 2 props with motors and watching them spin around really fast with my friends in our base. Not even being a nuisance and doing it outside. If it did at all lag the server, I didn't notice.

After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do? - Ask "Player A" what justification he had for killing "Player B". If player A expands on a justifiable reason for killing player B then i shall investigate that reason for evidence (Logs, Chat, Screenshots, Replays, Etc) I would also look into Player A's sit history to see if he is a repeat offender. Based on the information gathered, I will make the appropriate decision on how to move forward with the sit. 

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? - Make sure there isn't any invisible props as well as check the accused player's sit history, if not then perhaps spectate the accused player for a bit to see if he propblocks.

10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do? - Investigate the situation and interview the players involved, as well as do a background check on the player to see if he has been accused before. If the information gathered from my investigation turns up cold. Then I will turn the accused player loose, but spectate for a bit to see if he does anything to confirm these accusations.

A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do? - Tell the player he is more than welcome to submit a staff report if he sees fit. So I was just banned for an ENTIRE day for NO reason at all. Apparently it was for Repetitive RDM, a ban issued by BOB, but I call bluff on this because I actually didn't RDM as he and so many people claimed I did. If that were the case, then every time I "killed" them, they would have clicked the "yes, he did RDM me button" that pops up on screen every time they die. But no, no one did that. And the proof that no one did that lies in the fact that I wasn't brought into a sit ONCE during the session I joined now where I was banned. So, technically, it wasn't RDM, because nobody, and I mean NOBODY, clicked, "yes, he did RDM me" when I "supposedly" killed them. 
For nearly 40 minutes, I was restrained by three individuals on two separate occasions. The first time by SCP-173 BGE and his friend Callabian, and the second time by Propane Daddy, not even a few seconds after my previous restraining ended, who PURPOSELY targeted me from spawn, following me out, where he proceeded to taze me the moment I got out, and then stuck me in a place far away from any players, where he didn't demand any ransom or demands from me, and instead just left me so no one could find me. I gave 100k to SCP-173 BGE and Callabian, money that they split, but still, they didn't free me. I contacted admins, BOB teleported, he told SCP and Callabian to free me because it had been past 10 minutes, and the moment that they did free me, they immediately restrained me again and set me in the exact same place. I contacted admins about this, none came to my aid, except Kalista, who TP'd to me, and actually DID recognize that they were abusing their restraints, but decided to drop the matter when she realized it was me, Number Six, because she has a personal vendetta against me going all the way back to when she was a staff member on Ethereal Gaming in 2021. She continues to deny that she is Kalista, even though I see right through her disguise and that the personal vendetta of five years still reigns supreme in her vengeful being. 
So what you can see here is this - as soon as the admins recognized that it was me, Number Six, they dropped the matter and let these sniveling, heathenish players continue to ruin my DarkRP experience. But if this was anybody else, they would have intervened without question and hesitation and put an end to this player abuse, which they didn't, because they have a personal vendetta against me. BOB sided with Propane Daddy and unjustly banned me for one day for "repetitive RDM", and completely glossed over the fact that I had been unjustly restrained for over 40 minutes for RDM that I didn't do, which I have already explained myself for in the above paragraph. 
As I am a reasonable man, I personally don't want to see BOB and Kalista demoted, but I strongly encourage the higher ups to take this matter into consideration and re-evaluate their future with this server, because this is shocking, appalling behaviour from a staff member and I expected better from them. Rustic many years ago, got up to I believe Admin for ~6-ish months of total staff time I believe maybe slightly more, I then resigned due to me losing interest into Gmod
about 1-2 years ago I was also Moderator/Developer for Mutiny (became developer and Moderator at the same time, did both roles at once only for 1-3 months or so)

What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants? Experience from previous servers as Staff, going through the tanks of T-Mod to Admin, available to get on the server if needed at certain times when needed at almost any point

Ask if Player A knows how to player DarkRP, if not then recommend watching some videos on how to play DarkRP, while also giving some general advice and recommending the player to review the rules (!rules)

If the Player does know how to play DarkRP then  Ask Player A why they killed Player B if there are conflictons in Player A's story from Player B's then check for logs, if logs are not enough evidence then ask Player B if he has any kind of evidence that could support his case if Player A does appear to be an RDM then check previous history to decide which punishment should be applied, If there is not enough evidence for punishment then after the sit if there are no more cases then begin watching Player A to see if he is RDMing.

Teleport to Player A and ask where the props are/ to show where the propblock is, if propblock is found then Teleport/Bring Player B and ask why he is prop blocking, if valid reason (like a base with another way through) then advise Player A it is allowed, otherwise check previous history with Player B, if no previous incident conclude it do a warning, otherwise punishment should vary based on previous violations and according to current punishment guidelines

Check Damage logs, as a lot of it could have been ARDM, if not then go through tickets on who made the reports and check each situation, (possibly killing without creating logs somehow) if there are not enough evidence, end the sit and begin spectating the accused MRDMer to verify what he is doing, otherwise if the other players do have valid evidence, or the Player admits to it, punishment should go according to previous violations and current punishment guidelines

If the Player does know how to play DarkRP then  Ask Player A why they killed Player B if there are conflictons in Player A's story from Player B's then check for logs, if logs are not enough evidence then ask Player B if he has any kind of evidence that could support his case if Player A does appear to be an RDM then check previous history to decide which punishment should be applied, If there is not enough evidence for punishment then after the sit if there are no more cases then begin watching Player A to see if he is RDMing.

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? 

Teleport to Player A and ask where the props are/ to show where the propblock is, if propblock is found then Teleport/Bring Player B and ask why he is prop blocking, if valid reason (like a base with another way through) then advise Player A it is allowed, otherwise check previous history with Player B, if no previous incident conclude it do a warning, otherwise punishment should vary based on previous violations and according to current punishment guidelines

Check Damage logs, as a lot of it could have been ARDM, if not then go through tickets on who made the reports and check each situation, (possibly killing without creating logs somehow) if there are not enough evidence, end the sit and begin spectating the accused MRDMer to verify what he is doing, otherwise if the other players do have valid evidence, or the Player admits to it, punishment should go according to previous violations and current punishment guidelines

I know there are already Meth and Bitminer addons people are fine with but I wanted to suggest some that might be an interesting change. As I was testing the Meth cook job I believe it is painstakingly slow, while you can have bitminers and printers running to keep you more proactive but all of those are some form of idle process. Especially with people creating automatic even more idle processes for these tasks as well.


The Addons

Meth addon I suggest: is Zero's Methlab 2 and for different bitminers I suggest: Bitminers or Bitminers 2 by Crap-Head.

Meth:

Zero's Methlab 2:

  • Allows a more industrial type meth making system
  • You can use large compact like machinery
  • Allows different size meth tent for different size operations
  • Certain machines include small minigames to make it more interactive
  • Make your operation closer in comparison to Breaking Bad

Bitminer:


The current bitminers everyone can buy which is good to encourage proactive refueling or solar system to retain power. However, the bitminers are quite expensive to upgrade an entire rack is even somewhat pricey to upgrade even just an S2. Which is more like a money problem until you have to also pay out the ass to get printers as well. I believe a different addon is worth looking at. Crap-Head's Bitminers/Bitminers 2.
  • Uses more compact shelf with plenty of addons to apply to the shelf
  • Smaller operation type system
  • Can have multiple shelves to generate money

After looking at the addon one might assume, "He wants proactive but this also seems like an idle process." Which is why I want to add that instead of removing one or another bitcoin miner addon. Why wouldn't it be possible to adjust the hacker job to use the lesser bitminer addon (up to higher ups to determine which is better/lesser) and allow the pro hacker to use both bitcoin addons. As it stands the standard hacker job gives you a keypad cracker and pro hacker gives you a pistol and a "pro keypad hacker". One can argue these two jobs add more variety and encourage people to party up to do raids so everyone can have a job, as far as I'm aware people can buy deployable keypad crackers which partially defeats the purpose of what the two hackers have. Doing this would give hackers more a purpose on top of being able to raid with their dedicated tools (maybe).

Cons of giving hackers exclusive access to bitminers:

I want to be sure to include what could happen if the change to the hackers is made. Taking bitcoin miners from everyone and making them exclusive especially pro hacker would make people flock to those jobs to have 2 "free" streams of revenue aside from printers which is why limiting the amount of people who can be those jobs would be pertinent. On the flip side, it might encourage people (while hackers are full) to do more meth, more weed, more diverse money making jobs to compensate for that lost stream of revenue by exclusively giving bitminers to hackers.

Scenario 1

Player A, a new player, RDMs a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?

I would first ask Player B to explain why they called the sit. After hearing their side, I would give Player A an opportunity to explain what happened from their perspective. I would then review the logs and any available evidence before deciding on the appropriate course of action. If the logs confirm that Player A intentionally RDM'd Player B, I would issue the appropriate punishment according to the server's rules.

Scenario 2

Player A claims Player B is prop blocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?

Since I haven't seen any evidence myself, I would first hear both players' sides of the situation. I would then ask Player A if they have any screenshots, video clips, or other proof to support their claim. If there isn't enough evidence to confirm that Player B was prop blocking, I wouldn't issue a punishment based solely on an accusation. However, if evidence is provided or I personally witness the behavior, I would take the appropriate action in accordance with the server's rules.

Scenario 3

10+ people are all saying the same person is mass RDMing, but in the logs you only see they killed one person. What do you do?

I would start by looking over the report and checking the logs to see what they show. Since the logs only confirm one kill, I wouldn't immediately assume the player is mass RDMing. I would ask the players who reported them if they have any video clips, screenshots, or other evidence to support their claims, while also keeping an eye on the accused player for a short time. If additional evidence proves they were mass RDMing, I would issue the appropriate punishment based on the server's rules. If there isn't enough evidence to support the accusations, I would only address the confirmed RDM and let the reporting players know that reports should always be based on accurate information.

Scenario 4

A player calls you a terrible admin, claims they have proof against you, and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do?

I would stay calm and handle the situation professionally instead of arguing with the player. If they believe I handled the situation unfairly, I would encourage them to submit a staff report and, if they're willing, show me the evidence they have so I can better understand their perspective. If I realize I made a mistake, I would admit it, learn from it, and speak with higher-ranking staff if needed. What special skills do you possess that will make you more qualified than the other applicants?
I communicate well with players, stay calm under pressure, and enjoy resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner. I also like to keep a positive atmosphere, I'd say I have a good sense of humor, which never hurts. Most importantly, I always aim to find the best solution for everyone involved while enforcing the server's rules fairly.

Do you have experience with SAM?
Not to my knowledge. I'm very open-minded and willing to learn quickly.

Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school)
Yes. I work Monday–Friday from 5:00 AM–2:30 PM PST (8:00 AM–5:30 PM EST).

What times EST (server time) can you be active on an average day?
On weekdays, I am typically available after work from around 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM EST. On weekends, my schedule is completely open, allowing me to be active for extended periods throughout the day. I plan to be on the server frequently and remain consistently active going forward.

Scenarios
Scenario 1

Player A, a new player, RDMs a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?

I would first ask Player B to explain why they called the sit. After hearing their side, I would give Player A an opportunity to explain what happened from their perspective. I would then review the logs and any available evidence before deciding on the appropriate course of action. If the logs confirm that Player A intentionally RDM'd Player B, I would issue the appropriate punishment according to the server's rules.

Scenario 2

Player A claims Player B is prop blocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?

Since I haven't seen any evidence myself, I would first hear both players' sides of the situation. I would then ask Player A if they have any screenshots, video clips, or other proof to support their claim. If there isn't enough evidence to confirm that Player B was prop blocking, I wouldn't issue a punishment based solely on an accusation. However, if evidence is provided or I personally witness the behavior, I would take the appropriate action in accordance with the server's rules.

Scenario 3

10+ people are all saying the same person is mass RDMing, but in the logs you only see they killed one person. What do you do?

I would start by looking over the report and checking the logs to see what they show. Since the logs only confirm one kill, I wouldn't immediately assume the player is mass RDMing. I would ask the players who reported them if they have any video clips, screenshots, or other evidence to support their claims, while also keeping an eye on the accused player for a short time. If additional evidence proves they were mass RDMing, I would issue the appropriate punishment based on the server's rules. If there isn't enough evidence to support the accusations, I would only address the confirmed RDM and let the reporting players know that reports should always be based on accurate information.

Scenario 4

A player calls you a terrible admin, claims they have proof against you, and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do?

I would stay calm and handle the situation professionally instead of arguing with the player. If they believe I handled the situation unfairly, I would encourage them to submit a staff report and, if they're willing, show me the evidence they have so I can better understand their perspective. If I realize I made a mistake, I would admit it, learn from it, and speak with higher-ranking staff if needed. If I believe I acted appropriately, I would let the staff report process take its course and allow the evidence to determine the outcome.]]>
