Rustic many years ago, got up to I believe Admin for ~6-ish months of total staff time I believe maybe slightly more, I then resigned due to me losing interest into Gmod
about 1-2 years ago I was also Moderator/Developer for Mutiny (became developer and Moderator at the same time, did both roles at once only for 1-3 months or so)
What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants? Experience from previous servers as Staff, going through the tanks of T-Mod to Admin, available to get on the server if needed at certain times when needed at almost any point
Do you have experience with SAM? Unsure? I don't really remember the name of most staff tools as that's what i'm assuming SAM is.
Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school) Only work currently, can easily make time available if needed with notice
What times EST(server time) can you be active on an average day? normally 9PMish- 2-3 AM on most days, can adjust this time if needed
Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?
Ask if Player A knows how to player DarkRP, if not then recommend watching some videos on how to play DarkRP, while also giving some general advice and recommending the player to review the rules (!rules)
If the Player does know how to play DarkRP then Ask Player A why they killed Player B if there are conflictons in Player A's story from Player B's then check for logs, if logs are not enough evidence then ask Player B if he has any kind of evidence that could support his case if Player A does appear to be an RDM then check previous history to decide which punishment should be applied, If there is not enough evidence for punishment then after the sit if there are no more cases then begin watching Player A to see if he is RDMing.
Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?
Teleport to Player A and ask where the props are/ to show where the propblock is, if propblock is found then Teleport/Bring Player B and ask why he is prop blocking, if valid reason (like a base with another way through) then advise Player A it is allowed, otherwise check previous history with Player B, if no previous incident conclude it do a warning, otherwise punishment should vary based on previous violations and according to current punishment guidelines
10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do?
Check Damage logs, as a lot of it could have been ARDM, if not then go through tickets on who made the reports and check each situation, (possibly killing without creating logs somehow) if there are not enough evidence, end the sit and begin spectating the accused MRDMer to verify what he is doing, otherwise if the other players do have valid evidence, or the Player admits to it, punishment should go according to previous violations and current punishment guidelines
A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do:
tell the player he can do that if he wants, if he believes he is correct, he's allowed to report staff if he believes he has actual evidence.
