That is a huge shift for build planning, especially when you can bring in a level 850 Unique from the same slot and convert it instead of waiting on a perfect drop.
The season also adds the Corrupted Reaper, a new Lair Boss in the Pandemonium Threshold in Zarbinzet. Beat it during the questline and it becomes repeatable, which is the sort of thing players will farm fast. Its cache can drop Mythic Uniques and the currency used to make them, so this boss sits right in the middle of the season's economy. On top of that, the Tower and Leaderboards are finally out of Beta, with Solo Self Found boards, fresh cosmetic rewards, and those little bragging rights people chase every reset.
