Was this ban false, did you do what you were accused of?
-It's half false, half true. I did threaten him as a joke, but not only do i not posses the skills to do so, but the joke was recurring, as i would go to him and tell him "if i lose this double or nothing i'm RDM'ing you/yadda yadda", to which i continuously lost and never did the things i swore i'd do.

Why should you be unbanned?
-It was a joke and i was not aware that the server has a No-Joke-Policy about DDoS. I have a few hours (perhaps 2 days) on the server and a staff app running currently. I sincerely apologize since CrazyCookieEater told me that said rule was enforced with an iron fist, and i didnt know that, but i'm still sorry for whatever i did.

We have a zero tolerance rule about ddosing on NCRP therefore we may not revoke the ban you received.

As the person who banned you I'll add my comment here.

I do believe that the statement you made was a joke. It's still not acceptable to threaten DDoS/Doxxing. You made a direct remark targeted at a specific user, something like this could easily be misunderstood as a legitimate threat even given the context that you had previously said "if i lose this double or nothing i'm RDM'ing you [sic]" without following through on it. Players have a right to be free from harassment and threats, and there is zero tolerance for such remarks like this (even if they are not serious).

I'd be fine with a reduction as long as you understand going forward that any similar incidents will also lead to a permanent ban. I know you are active on the server and don't think you joined specifically to harass or threaten people.

As a side note, if you are serious about your staff application you probably should have known that stuff like this would be against the rules.

I did already apologize to my actions, even the guy i was "threatening" knew it was a joke. I'd still apologize or at the very least tell him it was a joke and that i was not serious, but i dont have access to the server to do that. I know there is zero tolerance, cookie told me, no need to repeat and repeat the same axioms.

I know it will lead to a permanent ban, once i came to knowledge that this is not an acceptable thing to say around (unlike racist or other -phobic remarks apparently), i wouldn't have said it anymore anyways.

Me and you have had a lot of attrition since when i joined, i remember it clearly as most of the sits just never ended in my favor even if i tried to reason or apologize to the 3rd party. I wouldn't have even answered to your comment if it were another person, but it just looks like you just wanted to pour salt over the open wound. I feel like already enough people had already reached out to me, and your comment (especially the last paragraph about the staff app) was purely unnecessary.

Nobody's perfect, and the fact that you assume that even a wannabe staff or a member of the moderation team can NEVER slip up on a law is, in my personal opinion, worrying at the very least. If you seriously expect me to believe that i somehow stumbled against a server, with a mod team (or wannabe staff) that is always unbiased and never breaks any law, then i will remove my staff application from the forums ASAP.

I currently have unban you, per our conversation, going forward you will be a good person. next time you get ban for anything it will stick.
