If you answered yes to the last one, which server and what rank? GarnetRp i managed to get to senior mod before leaving the server
What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants? Previous mod experience, the large playtime i have on the server
Do you have experience with SAM? i dont but im a quick learner and if i dont understand something im not affraid to ask for help
Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school) just a job working 4-5 days a week, with maybe 1 or 2 doubles
What times EST(server time) can you be active on an average day? from around 10pm or 11pm to 3 or 4 am most days, when i have a double at work the next day i wont be on the night before
Scenario
Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?
I would ask both sides for their story and collect any video evidence if available. then i would check the Damage/kill logs over to see what lines up as the truth, before deciding on punishments or lack of. i would also take into account the new players level and playtime into account and kinda play devils advocate depending on how the new guy is behaving so for beside the offence of rdm.
Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?
Ask for video proof if posible and if its confirmed either a verbal or warn as requested by player A. if there is no proof and no prop id let them know the problems cleared and just give player b a quick talk to most likey a "hey if you did do it, dont do it again", And if there is some logs for props i would check that and see what is spawning and kinda go again from there with proof and deciding punishment.
10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you?
i would again ask for video proof, as well as double checking and or having someone else check if there is an issue on my end, otherwise id have to talk to the players and take into account how they are acting towards eachother and to me during the sit and figure out a punishment the satisfies all parties involved
A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do
Id tell him that if he feels that he needs to report me he can do so and it will be handled on here where we can both state our case and let the other staff members decide, i would accept the outcome good or bad if i deserve it.
I would like to add that i know ive broken rules in the past, and outside of the past incidents of a group of players targeting and harrassing me, i try to be a respectable player, we all goof around from time to time and do stupid things but on the whole i try not to do anything ban worthy, and after being corrected about rules and things that are allowed and not allowed im generally pretty quick to change and fix what i do wrong
