No Cancer RP Official Rules!
Welcome to No Cancer RP. Before playing please take some time to read some of the rules so everyone can have an enjoyable time. Do not look for any loopholes in the rules or try to bend the rules. If you have any questions or are confused by any terminology please visit the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
General Rules
USE COMMON SENSE.
Do not RDM (Killing a player without a valid reason).
NLR(New Life Rule) is 5 minutes. This means you may not return to where you died for 5 minutes.
NLR applies to raids and PD raids. If you are killed in either, you may not return until over.
Do not RP in spawn.
No metagaming. (for example: killing a hitman because it says hit accepted above his head, raiding with keypad combinations).
Absolutely no prop climbing, blocking, or pushing.
Do not harass other players or staff. SLIGHT racism is allowed for RP, however, please don't take it too far.
Do not spam in any of the chats, whether it be voice, OOC, advert, or admin chat.
Do not beg for staff or bother staff when in a sit.
Staff have FINAL SAY in a sit.
DO NOT impersonate a staff member or other players.
No killing people with wiremod / Wire abuse
You may not block people's cameras with props.
Do not use any cheats/hacks (Cheats are programs or scripts that modify your game to give you an advantage. Macros are okay.)
Do not propblock.
You may not FDA(fading door abuse)(Ex. Opening a fading door to kill someone.)
Do not lie to staff.
Please do not have and offensive sprays, including but not limited to: nudity, gore, etc.
Using “/advert warn” must not be abused. Before you can kill the player, you must advert warn at least 3 times and there must be a few seconds in between each warn, don't just spam it to kill someone for no reason.
Don't /advert warn for random things like walking down the street. A valid reason to warn someone would be micspamming or following you etc.
Please do not scam anyone. Scamming for real money is even worse and will result in a perm ban.
Don't tase players without reason. Only tase players in a situation where you would otherwise have to shoot them. Exceptions to this rule arecops are allowed to tase wanted players or criminals who have commited a crime and are attempting to resist arrest. Also, you are allowed to tase a player to kidnap them, assuming you are following all other rules.
If you are tased, you are allowed to kill the person who tased you.
Do not revenge RDM (killing the person that killed you in your previous life).
Do not use an E2 or other means to change the material of your playermodel to wireframe or any other see through material/alpha.
When there is no mayor elected then only the first 3 laws apply.
Do not Stun Stick abuse.
You may not have any RP interactions with someone building that has a "Building" sign up.
You may not sell things using real life money i.e paypal. All interactions must go through the server/store to prevent scamming(Credits or other discussed with the owner)
Absolutely no exploiting of any kind (Abusing a broken or unfair mechanic) If you don't know if it's allowed ask staff.
Advert Rules
Please do not have multiple unrelated adverts in one message.
Do not use chain adverts.(example: /advert raid/terror/pd raid)

NLR Rules
These rules tell you if there is NLR based on which event is taking place. Green means there is no NLR, Red means there is NLR. If an event has NLR then please do not return to the place you died for 5 minutes or until the event is over. For example: if you get killed defending your base in a raid, wait until the raid is over to come back.

Party Rules
If someone attacks/kills your party member you may fight back.
Criminals may not party with PD.
All RP interaction cool downs apply to the ENTIRE party
Raiding Rules
If your base is being raided you may not return to your base until it is over.
Your base has to be able to be raided with the bare necessities(ex: regular keypad cracker/lockpick)
Raid cooldown is 5 minutes per base, and 10 minutes for PD Raid and raiding the same base.
If your base is being raided and you have already died you may not ask people to save your base as this is breaking NLR.
Don't take over other people's bases. Once you're done raiding please leave their base.
You may not blink during raids.
Can not spawn and or manipulate with props while raiding or being raided.
You are not allowed to initiate a raid/KOS them unless they are in general proximity(ex: on their kos line, the sidewalk in front of the base, inside door, etc).
No using weapon exploits during raids(ex: shooting nyan cat through walls)
While being raided, you may not stand inside a no-collided prop to protect yourself from raiders
Base Rules
Max fading doors are 5. This means there can be 5 fading doors between the outside and your entities(bitminer, printer, etc)
If someone is past your first fading door without permission it is considered trespassing or raiding, therefore you have the right to kill them.
You may not kill someone if they trip your alarm but cause no immediate threat (i.e no raiding tool out, by accident) You may kill after multiple trips in a short span.
No "wire turrets".
The person that owns the front doors of a building owns the entire building.
The minimum keypad time is 3 seconds.
You are not allowed to have a delay on keypads.
If you would like to megabase you or your friend must own ALL of the doors in the area that you have blocked off.
In order to megabase, you must have at least 3 people in the megabase.
You can not have a KOS line extend into the street.
You may not build in spawn or spawn tunnels, including the ends of them.
All KOS signs must specify a location or have a line(for example: "KOS past line" or "KOS past this sign")
KOS signs must be easily distinguishable from the area behind it, via color, and size. They also must be right over/next to the entrance of the restricted area.
You can't have a loitering sign. If someone is lurking around your base, warn them to leave.
Do not no-collide a prop to get inside your base during a raid, or any other time.
You may not use a KOS sign and a building sign at the same time.
All fading doors must have a visible keypad, button, or other means of opening it reasonably close to it. Invisible keypads or buttons are not allowed. It must be reasonably clear which keypad/button opens that door, no fakes are allowed.
If you are going to base on top of a building you have to own the building.
No E2s to give you an advantage over other players(alarms are an exception)
No crouch bases
Do not use pixel-perfect jumps as a defense
You MUST have a keypad on every fading door you have
No black out bases
All tunnel bases must have a safe path to walk through the tunnel
KOS SIGNS: Only one KOS sign no larger than 50 pt font and no Smaller than 20 pt font
You may not have a surf base
You may not have a keypad/fading door you have to crack multiple times to enter.
Mugging Rules
You can mug every 5 minutes
The max you may mug for is $5,000
You must advert mug with a time 5 - 20 seconds
Kidnapping Rules
You do not need to advert kidnap but must wait 10 minutes between each kidnap.
You may hold a captive for 10 minutes before they must be released(either killed or freed).
The max ransom for a captive is $10,000.
If you can audibly hear the restraint noise, that is considered a kidnap attempt and you are allowed to kill them.
Terror Rules
You can only terror for 10 minutes or until you die. (must advert over when done terrorizing)
You may not camp in your base or anyone else's during terror if the base has one-way props or a roof on it.
You may kill other terrorists during terror or you can team up with them.
PD Rules
You may not own any doors.
You may not raid if you hear printers!
BitMiners are allowed by default unless there is a law against them.
You may not lock the first door of the PD.
You may not participate in any illegal activity.
If the mayor does not agree with the PD base, you must remove it.
You may own bitminers in the PD unless there is a law against them.
You can not KOS/AOS the inside the PD lobby.
You may not have a building sign.
Mayor Rules
You are not allowed to carry heavy guns, only pistols.
You may not make laws to exempt specific people from the laws.
No laws regarding specific people. (such as: "kos player1")
You are not allowed to AFK as mayor(ex: for the sole purpose of earning money).
Lockdowns must have a valid reason given in /broadcast.
No law KOSing or AOSing people for non-RP acts (example: being annoying, calling me names).
The only job you can make AOS is rapists.
Don’t make KOS laws, but if someone is resisting arrest then you can kill them.

If a player is wanted, please make an attempt to arrest them before you just shoot them. If they resist you can shoot them.

The jobs listed here are the jobs that have specific rules different from their category in some way.
Donald Trump:
You may build a wall and charge up to a $1k fee to pass your great wall

You may mic spam or play music unless in a sit or asked to stop by staff.
