I've been playing GMod for over 12 years, Been staff on many servers for very long periods of time. When it comes to things that I do that could stand out, I used to run various server-wide events that kept them alive, familiar with all kinds of different admin sit situations, and I'm also familiar with server development.

I am told that it is almost exactly the same as ULX, which I am very experienced with.

Usually Monday - Wednesday I'm free for most of the day, Thursday - Sunday I work and do school stuff, I can sometimes be online during the day on those days, but I'm most active during the night, usually from 11pm - 4am EST.


Scenario
Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?

The first step to most admin sits is to check logs, and depending on the logging addon, some can not only show who kills who, but also who shot first, and how much damage was done between the fight. But in this case, I'll just assume it only shows who killed who. The first thing is to get the story from both sides, then if nothing special comes from it, and it just sounds like it was an accident, or even on purpose, give player A a warning, potential jail time, and be on with our day.

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?

This situation can have two potential causes, scenario A is the person simply deleted everything when they got word of an admin being called, so I would check logs to see if they were spawning the props used to prop block. Scenario B is that they made the props invisible, in which case I can just hover my crosshair over the area and see if their name is on the props, to which I will delete them quickly (if my rank allows me to).

The likely situation regarding this is that the mass RDMer is changing their name multiple times, but the obvious hint is the killfeed, if I see someone just mowing down everyone, it'll be hard to miss when the killfeed is being spammed. The player will be of course, questioned on why they're doing it, but in most cases, they will either just mic spam, stay silent, or try and kill me, to which I will swiftly ban them for as long as I am able.

Simply ignore them, as that kind of toxicity isn't worth giving into. Wait for them to make a report on the forums, and allow the people of the server to decide if they support it or not.

Was this ban false, did you do what you were accused of? I honestly don't recall what happened.
Why should you be unbanned? I really want to use wire to make an automatic vape store like I used to, and no cancer is the only gmod server with wire that is populated.
I don't remember what happened at all but I do apologize if I did try and crash the server.

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do? 
* Drag them into a sit and ask them what happened, get both of their stories, then check logs. If Player A did rdm Player B then I'd warn A and return them both. 

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? 
* Check the logs to see if there really was any props. If there was, warn the propblocker, and if there wasn't, ask for evidence or if another person was around who can confirm it. If nothing can be determined I'd just send them back and ask for evidence next time.

* Check to see if they changed their name on their profile and in logs with /rpname because I've seen that happen before, and if they were mrdming under a different name I'd warn them appropriately. If not I'd ask for evidence just in case the logs are glitching.

NCBA I worked up to moderator one step after tmod. NCBA was in a bit of a downturn at the time so I decided to step away from the server and spent most of my time on starwarsRP instead, but I've since found darkRP again. So far im enjoying the return.

What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants?

I have a stream deck I use and as a staff member I can use it to bind mod commands to make it easier to bring return etc. I also have no problem stepping away from RP to address tickets in the case that a moderator is needed.

Yes /menu to activate it. it's as simple as the search bar and dropdown menus after that.

I work most days from 9-5 and some from 5-11 but other than that; not at the moment. I do always make time for games though.

Ask player A why they killed player B, Then ask player B if this is what happened. The next step is to check logs to either prove or disprove either story. If it is without a doubt RDM personally I would ask Player B if they want Player A to recive a verbal warning or a !warn.

ask player A for a recording of the propblock to be sent over discord by finding my name through the discord server. If it is without a doubt propblock (i.e. the recording or somehow another way was found to prove it) then I'd refer to the Forums for guidlines on propblock offenses.

cloak self and watch the player suspected of mass rdm wait to see if any more rdm occurs, if not ask for video from the reporting party. If by chance there is no recording I can check damage logs to find any evidence that there was something like a massARDM. if not, asking the reported player what's going on is always an option. Depending whether or not it can be proven would obvious correlate with a punishment, but if not, a mental note and a little bit of supervision on the accused massRDM'r would tell one way or the other if he will do it again.

-I would not call anything I posses special, I just believe now that I have returned that I finally possess the qualities to become a stable member and contribute once again to the staff team, for as much as I remember no others had any problems with my work on the staff team and I have never taken my personal issues out on people of the community nor abused my rank to "blow steam off". So to conclude what "Special Skills" I posses I would whole heartedly say none. I am just a person who wants to contribute to a community and can show dedication and hard work with consistent fair decision making in order to keep the community clean and smooth operating.

-I was trained on SAM last time I was staff, I remember taking to it quite quickly and picking up on functions relatively easily, but I would much rather listen from a full updated training from an experienced member of the team.

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?:
-If a player is returning or not does not matter as sits should be taken with an Objective view. After teleporting the players I inform the offender that a sit has been claimed for RDM, Usually this is when the player A  would chime in and give a reasoning for the kill, during which I would check where the kill happened and how and if the reason player A gives is valid, if it is I would explain the reasoning and that the kill was valid to player B. If the kill was actually RDM and player A has no prior warns and is new, i would return player B and to player A why the kill was not valid and give him a verbal warning [Proper warning if the same thing repeats in a similar scenario for the kill]. After which player A would be returned.

Player A claims Player B is prop-blocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?:
-First I would teleport to player A and once not seeing any props I would properly check for invisible ones and if I would not find anything I would ask player A if they can provide a screenshot. If not I would inform them that sadly I cannot currently do anything about the matter and remind them that they should take screenshots of such thing, preferably timestamped. After teleporting away I would keep my eye on player B for a few minutes as I wait between sits to see if they attempt to prop-block once again.

-I would check logs again to make sure people are reporting the right name, because MRDMers usually switch names to avoid punishment. If I would not find anymore evidence I would urge the players to get some other hard evidence, after which I would spectate the accused to see if they perhaps start mass-RDMing.

-Players have every right to express their dissatisfaction with members of the staff team as long as it does not go into full on harassment or verbal abuse after which I would make a report about harassment and verbal abuse and let another staff member handle it. At no point I would resolve issues between me and a player by myself which could end up in unfair judgement, hence why another staff member is required. If they claims would be outside of harassment and verbal abuse I would provide the player with resources and information needed to fill a full and proper staff report but not before trying to resolve the issue at hand calmly and by communication with the community because no one likes just being pointed to a link instead of solving issues.

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do? First identify if it was RDM. Finding out who initiated the combat first, if there was any adverts or reason for the combat. If none can be found, ask Player A why they killed Player B. If its a matter of them not understanding how DarkRP works, I would ask player B if they wanted them warned and then return player B so I could explain to player A how DarkRP works. If its a matter of overall RDM, then I would ask player B if they wanted them warned or punished (or use my own ruling depending on the scenario) .
Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? Check logs to see if the player was spawning in big props (if possible). If there's nothing suspicious and no concrete evidence, I would ask Player A if they have any evidence (video or screenshots). If they do then I would receive them and decide how to deal with the situation after. If they do not, then I would urge them to if they see it happen again, I would also spend time keeping an eye on Player B whenever I'm not taking sits.

What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants? I have multiple years of staff experience that could help the current staff team build and the server by getting sits done faster. I also work night shift, so i'll be on the server during the night hours to stop possible minges as well as in the mornings for the same reason.

Do you have experience with SAM? I do not have experience with SAM but I have looked it up in the past and it seems relatively easy to learn, I am also open to learning things that I do not know and that could help me in my staffing career.

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do? Before I even teleport them to a sit, I will check logs to check and see the incident so I can have an action report for myself before I hear either story. After looking at the logs and seeing what I need to see (such as: what gun was used, location, and as much as the story as I can figure on my own) I would teleport both of them and then ask the person that called the sit, Player B what happened and their side and then after hear what Player A has to say and then hear his side of the story. After finding conclusive evidence that Player A did RDM Player B, I would tell Player A what he did wrong verbally and then continue to warn him.

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? I would check the logs for deleted props and what props they were, if the logs are inconclusive I would then proceed to ask Player A for any evidence, like a video or a screenshot of the propblocking, if there is no evidence than I cannot do anything, and will just return the both of them while also reminding the reporter to get any evidence if they can to make sits more conclusive.

I trust the logs, if the logs say that only one person has been killed than thats that. Unless a bug has occurred then the logs are 99% of the time going to be correct. I tell the people that there is not proof of mass rdming and they should record video evidence of the events.

What do you do?  I would simply ask why he thinks they way he does, and ask what I could do better to assist them. If he needs assistance finding where to submit evidence I will be more than glad to direct him to where to go on the forums, there's no reason to escalate a situation into anger or anything when you know you've done nothing wrong.
