Information

SteamID: STEAM_0:0:143582082

Discord @: _sexpenis

Hours played: 2d 13h 42m (last update 28.08.2024)

Working mic: yes.

How old am i: 20

Have i ever been staff: yes i have

On what server: SolitudeRP & AnexitudeRP, on Solitude i was a Mod, and on Anexitude a Trial-Admin (iirc)

Special skills: i have a solid knowledge of programming languages used by gmod such as Lua and C/C++, while i also possess an actual server in my house (a Fujitsu RX 100), so i could be of help with a couple of issues on the software side that the server might encounter. (I'm also doing computer science)

Knowledge of SAM: i have used it before, but i may be a little rusty since i haven't been a mod in a long time.

Commitments: I'm in Uni right now, as aforementioned in the special skills, i'm doing Computer Science. But in this period of summer up until october i'm completely free of any study or exam, so while i'm fully available now, i will try my best even in the rest of the year's time

Available hours: since I'm in Europe(CET) my timezone may be rather confusing in EST, but i'm available from 4AM EST to 8PM EST (in european time from 10am to 2am of the next day), although i mostly play around 2PM EST (which is 8PM EST)

Scenario

Q: Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?
A: I'll ask the new player for the circumstances and why/what his thought process was, as some servers have different rules, Player A might've taken for granted a piece of rp that Player B, being a returning player, already knows is not up to code. If Player A lies, wont comply, or shows uncooperative behavior, this scenario will result in a Warn for Player A. If the Player A was cooperative and was sincere about its ignorance, i'd simply let them both go with only a verbal warn to Player A.

Q: Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?
A: Well with the bare evidence that i'm given i can't directly assume anything, really. I will look in the logs for the props Player B spawned and deleted recently (if possible). If said option is unavailable or the logs show nothing, i'll return both players and monitor them for a while. If while hidden/spectating, Player B propblocks Player A, then i'll proceed to Warn Player B and ask him to stay away from Player A AND propblocking anyone again. If it repeats/continues to Minge/propblock, then i'll probably jail Player B for a while.

Q: 10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do?
A: Since the player has been accused but did not do the fact, i'd just called said reported player and ask him if he knows about the people they got reported by. After said questions i'd teleport the only person he's killed and ask them too about the whole ordeal. If it was RDM, i'll Warn the first guy of RDM (and not MRDM since it's only 1 person). If in the future said person does indeed massRDM and the logs show proof of his actions, then i'll ban him for a couple days, but if the logs say that he only killed one person, then it might as well be just some attempt at getting said person banned. If there is no proof, then the fact CANNOT be proven.

Q: A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do
A: If a player were to call me a shit admin, i'd probably have just snicker to it. If they were to go further and say they had proof of whatever they might, then i'd ask them of said proof to be sent to me (of whatever i did), and in case i'd try to reason with them on what i did wrong and possibly apologize/refund them. If they have no proof and it was all just a lie and attempt to threaten/scare me, then i'd just laugh and send them back. If it's a lie, it would be the definition of defamation, and i don't think it's worth losing my temper and time on. It is also completely possible that i'm just a shit admin, i'm not perfect, so i can't deny that; but i cant lose my temper on it, so i'd apologize anyways.

What is your discord @ ?

@TraxxDemon

How many hours do you have on No Cancer RP?

|NC|RP| Your total time is 1w 2d 13h 41m.

Do you have a working mic in-game?

Indeed i do.

How old are you?

20 years old

Have you ever been staff on a gmod server before?

I have but its been around 2-4 years ago and cant remember the server names but ive been staff on other servers and ended up retiring due to college and work.

If you answered yes to the last one, which server and what rank?

As i said above, i do not remember the server names as it was a while back but i remember going from tmod, to mod, then head mod, and eventually ended up to admin and then thats when i retired.

What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants?

Some special skills i pertain that others may not, are that i am available all night for several hours when many other staff members may not be active and would be able to take as many sits working as efficient as possible taking my time with each sit to understand both parties so that I as a staff member not make any errors. Other skills would be that i have past experience as staff and would love to be apart of the community once again.

Do you have experience with SAM?

I do have experience with SAM, although i may need a quick run-through at first to remember it again but i am a quick-learner so it wont take my a while to get used to it again.

Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school)

My job and school would not interfere with my staff time as i play all night from 12am-7am EST

What times EST(server time) can you be active on an average day?

I'd be able to play anytime of the week from 12am-7am EST
Scenario
Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?

I would ask for each Players' perspective on what happened one by one, and if it is getting to loud where both of them are yelling i would take one to another area and hear his story and vice-versa. After doing so i would check logs depending on the story and situation being told and see who is at fault and who is not. Depending on the server warn/ban duration rules is how i should take action on either player.

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?

Same scenario above i would bring them both to a sit, after hearing both sides, i would check logs for props being spawned by Player B, depending on which props and how many would determine if he/she was propblocking and I would have to take action on Player B so that this situation doesn't occur again.

10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do?

So all staff team should go off of logs and what they see in-game. If logs is confirming the player has RDMED one player then i shall take action for that one RDM, and if it keeps occurring, different disciplinary actions will need to be taken upon that player.

A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do

If i ever did make a mistake, it is my error as an admin and I shall take any disciplinary actions towards my mistakes, I would let the player call me whatever he wants as long as it is not something that goes against the rules and let him take it to a higher-up.

I play consistently, I’ve studied the rules by reading and learning what other staff members do, I help anyone that needs help in chat, I know how to play most jobs, I’ve been using a laptop ever since I was little so I can pick up on stuff really quick.

Do you have experience with SAM?

I have experience with SAM, but i do need a small refresh course.

Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school)

SCENARIOS

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?
I would tell Player A, to type "!motd" to look at the rules then guide them to the second line under General Rules where it states "Do not Random Death Match (Killing a player without a valid reason)" I would tell them to read the rules out to me so I can make sure they understand them. I would proceed to give him a verbal warning (he is a new player who deserves a second chance).

Player A claims Player B is prop blocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?

If player A claimed player B was prop blocking then I would ask Player A if they have any proof (screenshots, video records, etc.) if they do then I would go based off of their evidence while also confirming to see if Player B placed a lot of props withing a short time period, if yes is the case I would determine where the prop blocking took place and give them an accurate punishment according to the rules they broke. If I determine that Player B was not prop blocking then i would classify it as a false report and give Player A warning.

10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do?

If multiple people have claimed that someone has "Mass Random Death Match" I would ask for proof (screenshots, video records, etc) as there isnt enough proof in logs to blame "Mass Random Death Match" to the person being accused by 10 people. If there is no proof then i would disregard it as a false report and take appropriate action. If the person accused did "Mass Random Death Math" I would take the appropriate and give them a ban. I would also watch to see if he "Random Death Matched" just one person and if that is the case then i would give the player being accused a warning for "Random Death Match" And take appropriate action to the players that made a false report to them.

A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do.

If a player calls me a shit admin and they have proof that i did something that breaks the rules then I would direct them to "https://www.nocancerrp.com/" there they can go to Forums>Player reports> from there they can make a report about me and other staff will look into it.

Who banned you? Spectre

What is your ban reason?  NITRP/ Mass RDM/ Mass RDA / Mass Fail RP / Stun stick abuse

Approximate time/date of ban? I'm assuming verry early this morning cause i logged off at 5 am

Insert a screenshot of your ban message if possible. This is what you see when you try to join the server but are banned.

I wasnt able to keep my screen up while using snipping tool

Was this ban false, did you do what you were accused of?

This was a false ban. I didn't do what this ban claimed i did. I hit one person with the stun stick, and it was for a good reason. I never tried to arrest random people I only tried to arrest people that said wanted over their head or people that were shooting other people or committing other crimes. Idk where the Rdm claim comes from the only people I shot were people who shot other people or shot at me. I had a sit of my own were someone was rdming me as a cop and the guy was just warned even though he killed me like 4 times and then about 30 mins later i got off because it was late and i went to get on today and I'm banned I'm super confused and just trying to get on to play with my other friends who are on.

Why should you be unbanned?

I should be unbanned because I didn't do what it says i did. If i was pulled into a sit before i logged off i would have explained this.

What times EST(server time) can you be active on an average day?
Anytime after 6:30 PM EST

Scenario

Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do?
[*]Identify the Issue: Begin by asking Player B to explain what happened. They should provide details on the incident, including the location, time, and any relevant context.
[*]Gather Evidence: Check if Player B has any evidence, such as screenshots or video recordings, that show the RDM incident. If not, you may need to rely on their description and witness statements.
[*]Speak to Player A: Teleport Player A to the sit room and ask for their side of the story. Player A may not fully understand the rules yet, so it's essential to be clear and patient.
[*]Assess the Situation: Determine whether Player A’s actions constituted RDM according to the server rules. If Player A is genuinely new, they might not know the rules thoroughly, which can be taken into account.
[*]Explain the Rules: If Player A did RDM, explain to them why their actions were against the server rules. Provide a clear explanation of what RDM is and why it’s important to follow the rules to ensure fair gameplay.
[*]Apply Consequences: Based on the server’s policies and the severity of the RDM, decide on an appropriate punishment. New players might receive a warning or a minor penalty, while more severe cases might warrant a temporary ban or other disciplinary action. Make sure the punishment is proportional and educational.
[*]Educate and Prevent: Use this opportunity to educate Player A about the server rules and the importance of following them. Encourage them to read the server rules and offer resources or guidance if available.
[*]Follow Up: Once the sit is resolved, make sure to document the incident and any actions taken. This helps maintain transparency and track repeat offenders or issues.
[*]Reassure Player B: Thank Player B for reporting the issue and reassure them that the situation has been handled according to the rules. This helps maintain trust in the server's moderation.

Player A claims Player B is propblocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do?
[*]Verify the Claim: Ask Player A for specific details about the propblocking incident. Find out when and where it happened, and request any evidence they might have, such as screenshots or video recordings.
[*]Check the Location: Go to the location where Player A reported the propblocking occurred. Sometimes props might be removed before you arrive, so inspect the area thoroughly.
[*]Review Player Actions: Ask both Player A and Player B to explain their actions around the time of the reported incident. It’s possible that Player A might have misunderstood the situation or that there was a temporary issue with props not rendering correctly.
[*]Look for Patterns: Determine if there are any other reports or patterns of behavior involving Player B. If Player B has a history of propblocking, it might provide context for the current situation.
[*]Check Server Logs or Tools: Check logging tools or administrative commands to track prop usage, use them to check for any recent prop activity that might not be visible in the current state.
[*]Investigate Context: Sometimes, players might accuse others of propblocking due to misunderstandings or in-game conflicts. Assess whether the claim might be related to another issue, such as a disagreement or roleplay scenario.
[*]Educate Both Players: Regardless of whether propblocking is confirmed, remind both players of the server rules about prop usage. Explain how propblocking can impact gameplay and encourage fair play.
[*]Document the Incident: Record the details of the sit, including the claims made, the evidence reviewed, and any actions taken. This helps maintain a clear record of the incident in case of future disputes.
[*]Take Appropriate Action: If no evidence of propblocking is found and it appears to be a misunderstanding, explain this to Player A and advise them to provide more substantial evidence if they encounter similar issues in the future. If Player B has behaved inappropriately or there’s a pattern of behavior, address it according to your server’s rules.

10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do?
[*]Investigate Reports Thoroughly:

  • Gather Detailed Information: Ask the players who reported the mass RDM to provide detailed accounts of the incidents. Request the exact times, locations, and any evidence they might have, such as screenshots or videos.
[*]Check Logs Extensively:
  • Review Extended Logs: Sometimes the initial logs might not show the full picture. Use server tools to check for any additional logs or historical data that might show more kills or incidents by the accused player.
[*]Look for Patterns:
  • Corroborate Reports: Cross-reference the reports from different players to identify any patterns. If multiple players are reporting similar behavior, there may be a common factor or time period during which the RDM occurred.
  • Check for Other Players: Sometimes victims of mass RDM might not have reported every incident. Verify if there are additional victims who haven't come forward.
[*]Talk to the Accused Player:
  • Get Their Side: Ask the accused player to explain their actions. They might have a different perspective or might admit to other incidents not yet logged.
[*]Check for Server Issues:
  • Look for Bugs or Glitches: Ensure there aren’t any server issues causing discrepancies in the logs. Sometimes, server bugs can result in incomplete logging of events.
[*]Investigate Recent Activity:
  • Review Recent Play: Look at recent activity and interactions around the time of the reported mass RDM. This can help identify if the player was involved in any unusual or disruptive behavior.
[*]Monitor the Player:
  • Increase Surveillance: Temporarily monitor the accused player more closely for any further violations. This can help catch any ongoing issues that might not have been captured in the logs.
[*]Document Everything:
  • Keep Records: Document all the reports, evidence, and your investigative process. This helps ensure transparency and provides a clear record in case the situation escalates or if further action is needed.
[*]Take Appropriate Action:
  • Issue Warnings or Penalties: Based on the investigation, take appropriate action. If there is sufficient evidence of mass RDM, apply the necessary punishment according to your server’s rules. If evidence is lacking but suspicion remains, consider a warning or increased monitoring.
[*]Communicate with Players:
  • Inform Both Parties: Update both the reporting players and the accused player on the outcome of the investigation. Clear communication helps maintain trust in the moderation process.`

A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do?
[*]Stay Calm and Professional:
  • Do Not Engage in Hostility: Avoid responding with anger or defensiveness. Maintaining a calm and professional demeanor is crucial in resolving the situation effectively.
[*]Acknowledge the Complaint:
  • Listen and Record: Acknowledge the player’s concerns and take note of their specific grievances. Let them know you take their feedback seriously and will review the situation.
[*]Request Evidence:
  • Ask for Proof: If the player claims to have evidence against you, request that they provide it. This could be screenshots, recordings, or any other documentation related to their complaint.
[*]Review the Evidence:
  • Examine the Claims: If evidence is provided, review it thoroughly. Check if there is any validity to the claims and if any actions you took might have been inappropriate or misunderstood.
[*]Assess the Situation:
  • Evaluate Your Actions: Reflect on your actions in the context of the server rules and guidelines. Ensure that your conduct aligns with the server’s standards and policies.
[*]Address the Player’s Concerns:
  • Respond Appropriately: If the investigation reveals that there were issues with your behavior or decisions, address them constructively. Apologize if necessary and explain how you will correct the situation.
[*]Communicate Transparently:
  • Update the Player: Inform the player about the outcome of your review. If no wrongdoing is found, explain your findings and how you handle such complaints. If mistakes were made, outline the steps you’re taking to improve.
[*]Prepare for Formal Complaints:
  • Follow Server Protocol: If the player decides to report you on the forums or through other official channels, follow your server’s protocol for handling formal complaints. Provide any relevant information or evidence to support your case.
[*]Document Everything:
  • Keep Records: Maintain detailed records of the interaction, including the player’s complaint, the evidence provided, your investigation, and your response. This documentation can be useful if the complaint escalates.
[*]Seek Support if Needed:
  • Consult with Senior Admins: If the situation is complex or you feel it could escalate, consult with senior admins or moderators. They can provide guidance and assist with resolving the issue.
[*]Focus on Improvement:
  • Reflect and Improve: Use the feedback as an opportunity for self-improvement. Ensure that you continue to adhere to server rules and standards, and take any constructive criticism to heart.

By handling the situation with professionalism and transparency, you help maintain trust and credibility within the community, and ensure that any issues are addressed fairly and effectively.

What is your discord @mossy6942

How many hours do you have on No Cancer RP? I currently have 171 hours.

Do you have a working mic in-game? Yes

How old are you? 16

Have you ever been staff on a gmod server before? Nope

What special skills do you posses that will make you more qualified than the other applicants? I Know That when I become an admin I will listen to the people making sure that they are served Equally, and right. This is Because, I was always told if you don't like something, Fix it, so fixing it I will. Also I am a great listener and I am a quick learner. I can also adapt to my environment, and I know I will be a Valuable asset to the team.

Do you have experience with SAM? Nope

Do you have any other significant commitments? (such as a job or school) Yes, I'll be back in school soon. That is currently it.

What times EST(server time) can you be active on an average day? 2 pm - 9 pm

Scenario
Player A, a new player RDM's a returning player, Player B. Player B calls for a sit. After teleporting them to a sit room, what do you do? I would First ask Player B what happened. After hearing their part, I would ask Player A why they had RDMed Player B. Once I hear both stories I would check logs to make sure their stories check out. I would then tell Player A the rules of RDM, and how its not allowed to do it. I would then give Player A a verbal warning sending them back first, then ask player B if they had lost anything in the RDM. If they did I would check logs to make sure, and drop what they lost. After the sit I would spectate making sure player A isn't just a troll and if they aren't, and I am not busy I would help them out a little showing them the ropes.

Player A claims Player B is prop blocking, but you do not see any props. What do you do? First thing I would do before taking anyone to me, I would check if Player B is currently Prop Blocking. Then I would then teleport Player A and, ask questions about their Accusations. I would Also ask if they have any proof of Player B prop blocking. If I have any proof at all of Player B Prop Blocking either from clips or logs, I would bring them to a sit and ask them why are they prop blocking and tell them that they cant do that at all. I would give Player B a warning sending them back. after I send them back I would watch for them for a while. if they do it again, I would then tell them the rules once again, and jail them for around 15 minutes. if they continue, I would kick them. Anything after that I would ban them for 2 to 3 days.

10+ People are all saying the same person is massrdming, but in the logs you only see he killed one person. What do you do? So first I would Instantly teleport the player who is being accused of mass RDM. ill call this person Bob. I would question Bob asking him about the accusations against him, and I would hear his side of the story. while i'm listening I would check logs to see whats going on. I would see that he has that one kill so I would tell Bob not to RDM. I would teleport the guy who he killed ask for his story and if he wants to press against Bob. If so i would give bob a RDM warn and send him back watching him. If he does end up MRDM or I get a clip, I would ban him for a few days for MRDM. But in the situation if its just another RDM ill follow the same thing like i said with the prop block situation.

A player calls you a shit admin, he also claims he has proof against you and threatens to report you on the forums. What do you do: First, I would tell the person that i'm sorry they feel this way, and if they would like to talk it out. if they choose not to I would tell them, if you want to you can send a report through the forums. If they decide to send the report, I would assist them or ask another active mod to assist them with it.

I spent a while growing weed probably a few hours in this time i got to 38% purity and only sold it all for roughly 50k, also I lost money because the micromanagement which is a good price but adds up. Idk what to do with it but just buff the money.

garbage man Starting off on the server i played as a garbage man and after collecting lots of trash I barley sold the trash for around 20-30k, doing this job is lots of work for little money I suggest to add a slight buff in sell value and adding a percentage sell rate like the weed buyers.

mining is a cool job but with the difficult/expensive start it has and only making a few grand for each ore bar is crazy ngl. buff ore value a ton

my point im tryna get across is this server is dry with only way to make decent money is printers, bitcoin, and meth. This dries the server out making it repetitive. also meth jobs are only limited to 4 people making it kind of competitive at times, so buffing these jobs values will make people more interested into these others jobs and making decent money while doing them.
