I've been here for a few weeks and the server has had lag issues as of lately. It'll get super laggy for everyone and it'll crash on an occasion and not come up and it's even gotten to the point that it's been down for around 24 hours.

Everytime these issues happen, the mods and admins say it's "Someone DDOSing the server!" but I just don't get it. I've been playing Gmod for years and I'm just not sure how a server can see a DDOS almost daily! It's even gotten bad enough that it has wiped the floor with the server the past few days??? Seriously? My old servers have NEVER seen a DDOS attack before and I was on them for 300 hours or so each! I've been on NCRP for about 36 hours now and I've seen a crash happen about 4 times and the server went dead twice in two days out of the approximate 3 weeks I've been on the server.

I just see it as a possible issue with the amount of people in the server because it seems to correlate. If there is more than 36 - 40 people in the server, the server starts to lag up a storm. It just nevers seems to be able to handle more than that. Sunday, this last weekend, I saw the server at it's max and it literally moved like molasses. The server had an near crash that wiped the server to below 40 people and then it suddenly ceased all lag.

Is it possible that the server isn't powerful enough to play with more than 40 players?

I just don't understand the amount of issues this server seems to suffer on the norm, it just seems nearly impossible that everyday is another DDOS attack. How can that even be true? Does NCRP have that many rival servers that they pay attention and lag out the server anytime it surpasses 36 players? When it goes up to 40 players is just when someone slacked to send in the DDOS? It all seems so confusing, but then again, I haven't ran a server before, so maybe I don't understand how often it happens. I'm just positive I've never experienced a server lag so hard entirely based on a "DDOS attack" on the daily.

Can I get a better explanation to the issue and a more laid out idea about the whole DDOS thing?

Reason for being unbanned:  I was messing around with the toolgun very late last night because there weren't many people on the server. I was welding props together and making a snake. Shawn warned me for toolgun abuse and attempting to crash the server. I wasn't attempting to crash the server but I was okay with the two warnings. Around 2-3 minutes passed after he warned me, then I logged off for the night. When I got one the next day, I saw that shawn banned me for 7 days for LTAP. I didn't LTAP. I didn't avoid any punishments. He warned me when I was on the server and I did not argue. After finding out I was banned, I joined the server's discord and asked for help. Dejavu was msging me as well as Shawn, and they both said that I threatened to DDOS shawn. I never threatened shawn. My friend Bri and I were joking about it but we weren't serious. DDOS is a serious crime and I would never actually DDOS someone. It is plain stupid to even consider that. I like shawn, and I didn't want to report anyone but I just want to be unbanned. Shawn and I were cool last night. Idk why I was banned.

Admin Abuse, used physgun to move all of my wiremod users/gates everywhere, and it is not that big of a deal. But it is certainly annoying since normal players (non-staff) cannot do this. It is certainly petty of me to do this, but this is not cool to do.

Hello, I was walking down the main road to hear someone screaming at me, I had walked over to a Admin named KingyBoBingy, He had claimed to be shot in the legs but was full health. He requested a medic and I said to him "I cannot help you since I don't have a healing tool" So I chilled there and just listened to them, and another person ran up. And he shot King in the "legs" and was killed by King in god mode. I was shooting him saying you shouldn't be in god mode killing people and then he started following me to the PD, which he also shot me to 63 health and i continued walking. I walked into the doors and soon followed him no clipping into the PD bank room, I kept shooting him since there was a KOS line past the second pair of doors. He had healed me to full to cover up the fact that he had shot me. I asked him to leave and he hadn't left, so I started recording from the PD.

Sadly i can't put the video onto here since it is to big for it but if someone needs the video just ask and ill link them it

This swep is op when it comes to raiding. Can glitch through world and bases. I think there should be a rule where you cannot you blink swep during raids.

Suggestion
Unrestrict wiremod GPU for regular players


Description
The wiremod GPU currently is restricted for regular players. I do not know if donators are able to use that utility. I understand that abusive tools such as Expression 2 are restricted to donators only.
Since other tools from wiremod are available for regular players, I suggest adding the wiremod GPU for regular players since

1. it does not appear to have any severe exploits which may cause alterations to regular gameplay, like other tools which are available to regular players
   
2. It is a pretty useful tool and great alternative to make signs or display content on a screen to Expression 2
   
3. the wiremod CPU is unrestricted for regular players, the only difference in these tools being the GPU includes a screen to display something on

What you are reporting for: i got perma banned for "trying to crash the server" but i was just joking with the admins, it didnt even crash it, i thought i would be banned for a while for disrespecting admins instructions but he instead permabanned me, i wasnt trying to crash the server.
Evidence:i made a "blackhole" with 9 blocks and a motor
btw i have 1 week of game in this server i would i try to crash it?

Recommend a raid maximum time otherwise they can legit just base in the base they were raiding.


Also, to /advert raid over when raid is over so that the owner knows it is okay to go back into their base.
